Friday, January 26, 2024 - What a special wine. Over 80% Cabernet with Cab Franc and Petit Verdot. Deep purple in color with hints of blackberry, cherry and plumb. Still super dry on the finish, but harmonizes well with the still very prevalent fruit. At 16 years old, still so youthful, it was amazing. This will continue to drink at peak for another 10-15 years with ease. I wish this was my first bottle of a six pack, but alas not to be--one and only.
