Saturday, August 17, 2013 - Dark ruby in color. Notes of dark fruit, tobacco, vanilla. Good mouth feel, if a touch thinner than other Zin's tried this evening. A nice balance overall. A few thought it a tad acidic, but others thought it perfect for food. Good grip without going overboard. Nice lengthy finish. Although this wine split the group a bit, it was still highly regarded by many of our 12 person tasting panel. The consensus was this would be incredible with BBQ!
