Saturday, August 7, 2010 - Great stuff for a modest price - this is what Bordeaux is good at. A bit of age brings out the secondary elements and this wine is in a nice place right now - sweet fruit with dashes of complexity and enough balance to make this either a food wine or one that stands alone quite happily for a glass or three on its own. I've added a few bottles of recent vintages based upon this year and the realistic price.
