Saturday, March 6, 2021 - As befits the vintage there is plenty of weight and fruit here and almost Musar in style. Very rustic and yet approachable sweet berry fruit but the only place it is let down is by the structure which throughout is a bit astringent and becomes more prominent. Thus balance is not as good as the lovely 1995.
