Monday, July 21, 2014 - Initially rather soft and sweet-not something I'd usually characterize in a big Napa cab right out of the bottle. Over the next two hours it brought forth flavors of cherry-charcoal, blueberry and other dark fruits, with minerality notes that were beautifully complimentary, and not likely to get flabby anytime soon as is probably the risk for '07 Napa fruit.

Should mature and drink well at least through 2019.
