Tuesday, January 17, 2017 - Quite rich on the nose, but with a good clear cherry note, very Italian. On the palate, very smooth initial entry, a lovely acidic core, cherry, a hint of oak rounds it out nicely with a decent amount of tannin on a good length finish. A very good example of classical Chianti, all that is good about Italian wine, so food friendly, but also very drinkable on its own.
