Monday, April 15, 2024 - Bordeaux 2004 20 years on Part 2 (Hawksmoor Guildhall): Medium gold, more youthful colour than I was expecting, this retains freshness and balance, and has so many levels it is hard to describe (Especially with my notes at a standstill by this point). Suffice to say this was an excellent Sauternes at 20 years old but could keep for 30 or 40. Delicious match with sticky toffee pudding.
