Thursday, January 15, 2015 - Very impressive wine by its texture and richness. The nose is of course very primary, sweetness is not overwhelming and there is a massive, attractive nose with lanolin and oak still dominating. Palate is a real beauty, very rich but with perfect equilibrium for my taste (I am often underwhelmed by liquoreux where I find there is not enough stuffing behind the sweetness... not here!). Length is good but not great. Interesting to see how this will develop, although it is an absolute delight to drink now.
