Thursday, April 5, 2012 - Slightly tannic, with dark cherry and vanilla notes on the nose. Light mouthfeel, with a tannic middle and a slightly bitter finish. Overall, I enjoyed the wine and it complemented the food (mushrooms, polenta, tomato sauce) surprisingly well. Needs food to balance the flavors.
