Sunday, May 28, 2023 - One of the most perfect drinking wines I have had. Opened 2-3 hours before decanting about 30 minutes before serving. Aroma opened up after decanting with classic cab fruit - dark berries, some cherry, some dusky tobacco. Wonderful. Color was deep purple with no signs of aging. I think this wine would be great for quite a while longer. On the palate silky smooth with acid and tannins both perfectly balanced and harmonious. A little unctuous even. Really special with long finish. Fabulous with grilled rib eyes, cooked by my brother-in-law chef, served medium rare with all the fixings and family. One to remember.
