No sign of corkage issues, but the aroma was foreboding. Both my wife and I tasted it, and although it had only been open with half the bottle decanted for only 30 minutes, the disappointment was evident. After only a few sips, we both set our glasses aside. I let it continue to breath after decanting the remainder of the bottle, and sampled it twice more across the evening and again twice the following day, and no improvement at any point. Down the drain. Hopefully it was just this bottle and that others of you out there have enjoyed this vintage better than we! I’m not giving it a score given the circumstances.
