Wednesday, January 5, 2022 - 2008 was regarded as “vintage of the decade”. Hot and dry, smallest production ever. 17,000 cases.

Riedel Bordeaux glass (“Root” to “Flower” day): Medium garnet to the eyes.

Rich mushroom and ripe plums. Savory, pencil shavings. White spices, inky.

Salt plums. Minerality is really high. Indeed the most enjoyable wine in the flight now.

93-94 points.
