Monday, April 17, 2017 - Private Tasting (@Private location): PnP, tasted blind. What a nice surprise it was. After the Halenberg GG also the Halenberg young vines as a comparison. Clear, pale yellow golden color. Clean, medium intense nose with blossoms and other floral notes, acacia and wet stones. Nice and much more mineral than the GG.
Beautiful wine, even if not as complex, layered and long as the GG. Dry, with medium, ripe acidity. Vintage typical aromas of ripe fruit, blossoms and nice mineral notes. Good tension and juiciness. Makes really fun to drink and is probably at its peak, but no need to hurry in any way. Very good PQR. 90+
