Tuesday, April 29, 2014 - Elegant, refined, refreshing. I really like these Beerenausleses. Especially this one from Schäfer-Fröhlich. With about half the alcohol level of most Sauternes (disclaimer: I really like Sauternes, but sometimes they are just a tad bit too heavy for me after a copious meal), this is really much more delicate. A most amazing perfume of ripe tropical fruits, but very fresh, not overripe. Highly recommended.
