Saturday, November 10, 2018 - 2018 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium – Kelly, RJ, Justin and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/7/2018-11/11/2018 (Villa D’este, Lake Como): Recently acquired from the NYC Christies June auction where this was offered from the domaine. Still quite energetic vibrant dark yellow. Remarkably energetic and precise nose displaying dry yellow fruit, dry apricot, dry apple, a hint of sherry, almond paste, sweet spices and crushed rocks. Beautifully integrated palate, generous dry sour yellow fruit, good freshness and purity, bright acidity, strong limestone mineral and a seamless long sour yellow fruit driven finish with a hint of sherry at the end. Exceptional showing.
