Wednesday, August 10, 2011 - I was very pleasantly surprised by this bottle, I had expected it to be a bit past its prime, but it was still quite delightful. It had a nice garnet color and a slight sulphuric nose which disappeared after an hour or breathing. It still had a surprising amount of fruit and delightfully fresh taste. Perfectly smooth and enjoyable, though not much of a finish. This was a great bottle of wine with grilled pork chops.
