Saturday, March 28, 2015 - A stunningly good white. Fresh, acidic and briney. Plenty of darker flavors like wax, almond, bark and a certain Fino/Manzanilla funk to it, but with a touch of sweetness in the backbone that makes this come across as almost youthful. Though the color is flaxen, the wine doesn't have an oxidized quality that one would expect from other wines this age. Very long finish with a progressive complexity that is remarkable. Simply a pleasure to sip and enjoy.
