Thursday, January 25, 2024 - From double magnum, so I expected it to be really fresh and primary but it is surprisingly evolved. 2004 can be lean and green and whilst Angelus is never lean the finish is beginning to dry out. Medium plus body, good tannin and acidity. The palate is not entirely clean but has notes of black fruits and lots of tertiary leather. Medium length, some complexity. This bottle is not in good condition. I would expect a much higher score for this wine.
