Saturday, December 16, 2023 - At Harvey's, Fortitude Valley. This is a truly beautiful bottle of Perrieres that is many ways reference standard. The colour was properly pale green gold with a forthcoming nose of white peaches, lemon and lime zest with touches of nuts, honey and oatmeal. The palate is richly flavoured yet nicely austere on the finish with a fine minerality and terrific drive from beginning to end. While there lovely touches of honey and oatmeal there is plenty of room for further maturity here but ultimately it is simply lovely now.
