Tuesday, August 4, 2020 - Freddy's 2009 Clos de lɒ Maréchale shows that solar vintage imprint with ripe red & black cherry dominating a nose that also shows coffee and spice notes. Fairly austere palate, drying tannins, soil flavors. Consistent with my last bottle two years hence, this is not my favorite vintage of this usually bright and elegant wine.
