Tuesday, September 2, 2008 - Lovely classic Rioja with tart cherry and well-integrated oak, smooth, light and tart. Blackberrries, vanilla, some black pepper. On the simple side for a good Rioja, floral complexity not really there, but a great QPR for a wine that is as much fun to inhale as to drink.
