Saturday, May 28, 2011 - A beautiful bottle, this took quite a bit of air to open up. I pulled the cork at about 3pm and decanted at 8pm; it still took an hour or two to hit its stride. The aromatics were truly great; the palate was merely good. I think the tannins are holding it back. Still a lovely experience.
