Friday, August 3, 1990 - With BLR at London Wine Bar in SF. Reminds me of the '84 Ridge Monte Bello. Deep ruby color. Beautifully focused raspberry fruit in the nose. Riveting. One the palate, it has aggressive tannins on the finish, plenty of alcohol and loads of fruit. Nice. Good wine. Ageworthy. 5-11-16-7: 89/100
