Monday, June 24, 1991 - With MPL, Brett and Diane at London Wine Bar in SF. I had this listed in my handwritten notes as a "Reserve" but CT indicates no KK reserve Cabernets. Anyway, whatever I had, it was very pretty; ruby color. Good legs. Excellent nose. Beautiful red fruits. Juicy. Fine. Sweet, even fat (a bit alcoholic). On the palate, it's fine. Black cherry. A bit hard in the finish. Tannic. Excellent wine. Needs time. 5-11-14-7: 87/100.
