Friday, April 7, 2023 - Still in great shape and some road ahead of it. Not one of the re-corked bottles, but in excellent condition. Exactly what we’d hoped for and increasingly expressive over three and a half hours. Earthy, gamey, and increasingly a flinty minerality and some band-aid. A touch thin on the palate, as someone noted previously, but it’s in hair-splitting territory. Excellent, excellent.
