Sunday, September 9, 2012 - I brought a bottle with me on a trip to Korea, as I needed something in my room other than over-priced hotel wines ($80 for Yellowtail, for instance!). This sat for 3 days before I opened it, and I consumed it (with some help from the family) over two days. Day 1 was similar to my notes of 8/18. On Day 2, this was much more open, with distinct note of licorice underlying the well-structured fruit/tannin layers. Nicely done. Needs more time, as I noted in the earlier note. But, with plenty of air, this opens up very nicely.
