Saturday, February 23, 2019 - A good showing. Distinct eucalyptus and graphite elements in the nose, flinty. Some tasters at the table said reminded them of young Bdx/Graves. I thought it really a nice addition to the meal. The aromatics were the star, but the midpalate was there too with tightly knit red fruits and a touch of earthiness. A great value Napa Cab, esp with how dynamic it was in the glass. Engaging now, but has a future ahead of it for those tasters that like more secondary expression beyond core fruit in their Cabs. My only bottle unfortunately. If the winery releases some library of this, I may pull the trigger.
