Friday, February 5, 2010 - Deep red, almost purple color. Looks like a wine 10 years younger. Aromas of black cherry and blueberry, pansies (my wife) and a touch of tobacco. Ripe fruit in the mouth with good structure and depth and very soft, well-integrated tannins. Surprisingly "New World" and "international" in style. Not terribly complex but very delicious to drink at this time.
