Sunday, December 25, 2011 - Mid-dark garnet, brick/amber edges; ripe grape nose, Sangiovese sharpness, earthiness; mid-body, good tannins, some life left; balanced finish. w/saltimbocca. Tasted with Frescobaldi 97 Brunello. The Banfi edged it out.
