93 Points

Saturday, June 14, 2003 - Tasted at an off-line featuring Wine Spec's top ten wines of 2002. A little horsey on the nose, but it blew off after awhile. This was the “biggest” wine of the Brunelli. Good intensity, sturdy acidity, and a long finish. Meaty and substantial, with a nice muzzle blast of fruit in the middle. Lacking the complexity of the other two Brunelli, but the one I’d pick to accompany Steak Florentine.
