Friday, July 23, 2010 - Medium garnet tending towards brown color. Nose of wet fall leaves, fine tobacco, spice and coffee. On the palate, medium bodied with flavors of red forest berries, figs, lavender and hazelnut. The flavors are delicate and reserved but it is definitely still alive and kicking after almost twenty years, easily able to stand up to a good dinner. 12.5% abv. 92+
