Friday, May 2, 2014 - Popped and slow o'ed for an hour. When one harkens back to the days of yore with yearnings for middle age styled wine, this is that wine. I imagine this wine sitting in an old Pegau or Rostaing barrel. An old witch, paddle in hand, stirring and dropping in pork shanks, racks of lamb, oxtail, wild mushrooms, smoked herbs, tea, wild raspberries, blackberries, and dark currants. Mumbling some unintelligible refrain as she cackles with delight. 96 pts.
