Thursday, June 14, 2018 - Typical Cayuse syrah aroma of smoke, plums, roasted meat, French oak, immediately pronounced. Completely dark and opaque, garnet-purple. Probably the most concentrated and dense of all their syrahs, with powerful flavor but also moderate tannin, more than usual for a Cayuse. I think this needs a couple more years in the cellar.
