Thursday, March 28, 2019 - Same bottle as Rocknroller's note. Had sat on this bottle for around 5 years and thought it was time to get after it. A tart, precise presentation. Good intensity and pucker. Has the structure to age further but should the fruit recede, not sure it would be as pleasurable as it is now. Paired with some crudo, but the wine was a bit too intense for that. Needed something else in the dish to push back. After sitting in the glass more salinity started to come through. A very nice wine.
