91 Points

Thursday, May 5, 2011 - Well, it's not at the level of Robert Chevillon's LSG, but this is a very nice bottle just the same. It started out a little plain and unremarkable but it continued to build in richness as it sat in the glass, to the point where it became striking for the dense succulence of the fruit. But it was difficult to get a read on what else was going on and it didn't exactly show the quality of tannin that LSG is often (perhaps uniquely in Nuits) capable of.
