Wednesday, August 16, 2023 - Dinner at Chengdu Impression (Chicago, IL): Very sweet and lower acid than is typical for this wine, and it's quite likely this is a product of the vintage. It's still very minerally and primary, and frankly just drinks like a young Prüm. Decent now, but high potential, and given that this is a little trickier to replace, I'd be more inclined to let this age a decade or two more to let it develop some more interesting characteristics. Because you might as well just drink a bottle of the current vintage instead right now.
