It was tasted blind at a party amongst 6 other Napa /Sonoma Merlots. It scored last and there were a few $5 wines added to the mix for fun. I was quite disappointed by this wine because my expectations were high after barrel tasting the 2009 Merlot at the Winery. The unreleased 09 was delicious straight from the barrel. I was not the only one to score this one down, it was pretty much unanimous at our party, except for one fellow who had it 4th out of 7 wines. The nose wasn't there and the finish fairly weak. I am not sure if this one just needs a few more years in the bottle.
