Quite cloudy and opaque appearance with a dark, raisiny mahogany hue. Pungent, oxidative and quite animal nose with oxidative sur-agé aromas of raisins, earth, soy sauce and beef jerky. The wine is dry, dead and oxidized on the palate with saline aldehydic tang and flat flavors of raisins, earth, some nutty Sherry tones and a hint of rowanberry marmalade without any sweetness. The wine is high in acidity with quite tough tannins. The finish is long, dull and oxidized with flat flavors of soy sauce, raisins, some saline aldehydic character and an oxidized hint of chopped nuts.

Completely dead, flat and oxidized. Way past its prime.
