Monday, November 10, 2014 - First of 24, opened an hour but not decanted - bright dark cherry red, no rim development; pure, fresh cherry fruit driven bouquet, very attractive, no secondaries or usual mourvedre "sweaty saddle"; med/full, very long and complex, pure, Beaucastel at its most Burgundian and one of the most impressive young Beaucastels I can recall. Very fine at least (18.5/20).
