The nose was very clean with cherries, black cherries, spice and even dried flowers. There was also a note that a couple described as asparagus. I got that when it was pointed out, but would not describe it that way. I think i was more going with the dried flowers, I think. Anyway, that was not there on the palate, and much younger and fresher on the palate. Showing some dark cherries, spice and black raspberries. Some complexity. Lighter tannins. Good balance. nice finish.
