Monday, August 14, 2023 - I agree with the review from another vintage -- this needs a long decant. It was not really pulling its weight right out of the bottle. But, after an hour decant (and not before that time) it moved into a very nice drinking range. Still not an 'over the top' in terms of my tastes, but a quite nice wine and easily enjoyed. It is a more powerful base than I would have expected and has an unusual color palette. Smell is pleasant, but not easily described. No long aftertaste. Clearly well made and the flavor combination is appealing.
