Nose of black pepper, some cinnamon dark fruit and touch of plum. Good, concentrated wine with the fruit really shining on the palate. Full bodied, but not overly done. Long, spicy finish with great acidity which keeps this very refreshing and a joy to drink. Holds it's almost 15% ABV very well. This is very enjoyable right now, though I'm sure it will get better as time passes.
