Tuesday, December 13, 2011 - Still purple at the rim; deep dark garnet color. Aromas of brambly fruit (blackberry & raspberry), black cherry, spice, black pepper, oak. Same robust flavors. A smooth, jammy, rich fruit concentration in the mouth. I get a long spicy finish. Paired very nicely with a spicy pork sausage dish prepared by my wife.
