Friday, July 24, 2020 - Black, some red shimmer --- Nose fire stone, burnt wood, red currant, some cherry, some ash, some violets, flowery aspects, earthiness, balsamic notes, some licorice --- Palate watery, acidic, very nice tart and sour notes, which are so elegant, reminds me of Galardi´s 2007 Terra di Lavoro so much, some bacon, cherries again, minerals and ash dominant in the first place and then fruit arises, overall elegant and classy --- Finishes rather long on its beautiful tartness, fruitiness and minerals. This one is a statement or as Gloria Ganor sang " I am what I am". The combination of a bold character and freshness and fruitiness is impressive. A little bit too much on the smoky side. Gaining deliciousness with aeration. Excellent vine. Drink now and coming 2 years.
