Monday, July 3, 2023 - Excellent Corton Charley, which showed surprisingly young given its on its 14th year. This was decanted and enjoyed over 1-2 hours with various French seafood dishes. The decant likely paid off, as this evolved and really came into focus over the course of the evening. Characteristic mineral and lemon citrus profile was enhanced by unusual weight and fullness. Really beautiful wine that stood up to every dish thrown at it and ultimately held our attention as the highlight of each course. This is drinking great, after a decant, and I suspect will continue to improve for some time.
