Monday, January 6, 2014 - Deep gold color. Butterscotch, caramel, pear, custard and mango aromas. Awesome combo of acidity and ripe fruits that include pineapple, melon and citrus with vanilla cream on the long finish. Beautifully rich and balanced with what to me is perfect use of oak. Not oily or flabby at all. Outstanding. 92. This paired well with crostini of multi-grain baguette, canteloupe, fresh mozzarella, walnuts and drizzled honey.
