Saturday, April 24, 2021 - Kleur: Diep opaak donkerrood zonder spoor van verkleuring aan de randen. Aroma / bouquet: Bij de eerste indruk presenteert deze wijn zich vooral als stoer en krachtig, met serieus aardse en grondige tonen. Na enige tijd beluchting opent de wijn zich en komen de meer tertiaireen verfijnde aroma's vrij waaronder cederhout, zoetige kruiderij, gedroogde dadels en zachtekruidkoek. Smaak / Afdronk: Ook in de mond presenteert deze 2002 Mouton zich in eerste instantie vooral als stoer, aards en krachtig waarna de tertiaire aroma's loskomen. Eerst stoer, dan zacht en verfijnd. Mijn wijn! Algemeen / potentieel: 50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 12 + Smaak / Afdronk: 17 + Algemeen / potentieel: 9 = 93/100
Color: Deep opaque dark red with no trace of discoloration at the edges. Aroma / bouquet: On first impression, this wine presents itself as tough and powerful, with seriously earthy and thorough show. After some time aeration, the wine opens and the more tertiary and refined aromas are released including cedar wood, sweet condiment, dried dates and soft spice cake. Taste / Finish: This 2002 Mouton also initially presents itself on the palate especially as tough, earthy and powerful, after which the tertiary aromas are released. First tough, then soft and refined. My wine! Overall / potential: 50 + Color: 5 + Aroma /bouquet: 12 + Taste / Finish: 17 + Overall / potential: 9 = 93/100
