Saturday, May 14, 2016 - HDH auction tasting at Tru; 5/13/2016-5/14/2016 (Chicago, IL): Very nice and light nose, with pretty tart red fruit as well as a beautiful floral lift. The palate though is a bit abbreviated, and shows mostly the tartness of the fruit. There are some dried herbs on the palate, as well as a nice touch of minerality. Perhaps tilting a bit acidic, this is still a very nice expression of pinot.
