Sunday, October 7, 2018 - This was the fourth wine as part of the Champagne flight for the Charleston off-line.
Served with low country shrimp boil with white shrimp, artisanal sausage and corn on the cob - wonderful pairing with some great aged champagnes.

This was another one of my favorites of the champagne flight. This was my first experience with Cristal - had heard that it was very good, but somewhat overrated compared to similar priced wines. This one was great and did deserve a great reputation.

The Cristal had velvety warm flavors of apple, pear, orange peal citrus. Wonderful wine in a good spot.

Beautiful bottle as well.
