Oenovice Does not like this wine:

Saturday, August 29, 2020 - Well past its prime.
Colour very light, transparent.
Nose lovely. Started off rather musty (not unusual for this age) and then opened up to a lovely scent of spring. Some light red fruit but very subtle. Plateaued after an hour.
Thin on palate. Fruit had disappeared. Bit astringent after an hour or so.
Intellectually interesting given the occasion, but not something I'd hanker for.
